Creative Co-Op Scalloped velvet cushion

This Creative Co-Op cushion pairs muted green cotton velvet with a rounded scalloped border. We selected it as a small way to carry a green palette through a room without adding another large piece of upholstery.

An enclosed conservatory with one deep green sofa, one green accent chair, a cream rectangular table, a white organic vase and one scalloped cushion. — Illustrated setting: The sky garden. The scene is a styling reference; the retailer listing identifies the selected product.

How it fits everyday life

Place it against a darker sofa or a plain chair where the scalloped flange can be seen. The subdued green can connect plant colors with the seating while its outlined edge supplies a detail different from plain square cushions.

Before you choose

The selected item includes a polyester microfiber insert inside a cotton velvet cover, so it is a complete cushion rather than a cover-only purchase. Check the 18-inch square size against the usable seat and decide whether you want the decorative edge on display or a more visually quiet plain cushion.

A fictional moment

In an imagined tower sitting room, a resident brings the green cushion from a bedroom to the shared sofa before friends arrive. The familiar color makes the larger room feel a little more like their own.
