The welcome lounge, evening
A cream curved sofa, a black round table and soft scalloped wool give the tower a quiet welcome on its first floor.

The evening setting turns the entrance into a warmer pause between the street and the rooms above. Imagine waiting on the curved sofa for someone you are looking forward to seeing. The lamp’s pale shade, the cream vase and the shaped edge of the rug hold the simple arrangement together. This is a suggested story for half past seven, with the same five pieces visible and no timed meeting you have to attend.
About the welcome lounge
The welcome lounge introduces the tower with a small group of pale and dark furnishings. One cream Hyde bouclé sofa curves around the back of the seating area, while a black round Holloway table anchors the foreground. The continuous floor and ceiling lines connect this room to the floors above, giving the different interiors a place within the same building.
The Scottie wool rug brings a softly scalloped border beneath the main grouping. Its fog and ivory tones sit close to the sofa’s cream fabric, leaving the black table as the strongest contrast. One Elizabeth alabaster table lamp adds a white shade and warm metal detail on the architectural ledge. A cream twisted-handle vase provides a smaller rounded shape on the table.
Each of the five selected pieces appears once. The room gets its character from their different outlines: the long curved back, the round table, the shaped rug edge, the upright lamp and the two handled vase. There is no matching chair or second lamp making another copy of the same arrangement. The open space around the furnishings helps the entrance feel calm.
Explore the prepared lounge, compare the materials and look at how its palette changes with the tower hour. You might imagine waiting for a friend or taking a brief seat before going upstairs. Those are ideas for your own story, rather than delivery schedules or resident appointments. Inside the tower, each selected piece has information you can open when its shape or material catches your attention.
